Utilit goes down. Score drops.

I've gotten $35000 additional cl, utility goes down from 38 percent to 9 percent and transunion drops 6 points. 3 yesterday for new account. And today 3 with no reason given.

Aaoa is now 6 years

What gives here, no other changes to report. I assume the new accounts outweighed the additional credit lines.

Bummed but in the garden again for quite awule. Hoping for rebuild.

Re: Utilit goes down. Score drops.

There are other changes or the existing changes didn't total up the way you expected.  You'd need to carefully review reports before and after.  Also, it's not just a matter of additions and deletions but aging and other changes.  I'd agree that 9 points isn't worth sweating over.  Scores will fluctuate just from normal activity.  Set your threshold to worry over larger changes if you're going to fixate on the numbers.

What was it before?  How much did it drop?

Re: Utilit goes down. Score drops.

I was just making an observation. I realize that the scores are fluid and move up and down regularly. I was just hoping that the increase in credit lines and drastic decrease in utilization would have had a greater impact on my scores.

However, I realize that I still have a lot of bad baggage. Time is my friend here.
