Good news for me !
Looks likes I was wrong,
My ccd statement don't cut until monday.
I can still make a small purchase and get those extra 20 points or so for my apps with Chase.
I will just have to wait a few more days before I can app after the bureas''s are updated.
Whew !
So glad that I have more time for that purchase to post now.
Good for you! Do you have some tools that will let you see when the balances have updated at all three bureaus?
I normally use CK, but it dosent update but every seven days,
Would you know of any tools that I could use to get a status check when it updates ?
I def want to app right after the ccd posts with a small balance ( I spent $60 at Lowes today )
You could use WalletHub, which gives a daily update of TU.
Then when WH shows that TU has updated its database, I'd wait a businbess day and use Karma to pull EQ. When EQ and TU are both updated I'd wait a couple business days and hopefully EX will hve updated by then.
Is there any particular reason why you have to apply immediately after the Lowes has been updated? Rather than just giving it a couple weeks?
Experian isn't necessarily slow, but it's harder to get ahold of a report that updates any more frequently than monthly.
Once you see that your other reports have updated, you could go to freecreditscore.com to see your Experian report. But because it only updates monthly, wait until there's a good chance that the report will be up to date. If you see the update on TU and EQ, chances are good that Experian will have it.
Another option would be the $1 trial at CreditCheck Total. You pay a buck for the trial and cancel before the trial is over. I haven't done that, so others should fill you in on the details if you have questions. Again, I'd wait until you're pretty sure that your card has reported.
If you check either freecreditscore or CCT and the card hasn't reported, you can wait a couple of days and sign up for the other.

So,
I currently have two credit cards.
One has already reported at 0%
The other reports today.
It presently has a zero balance as well.
I will be apping for new cards with chase on Monday.
Should I charge a little on my card that reports today so that I will have a small percent of usage to give me a higher score for Monday ?
Would like to have the highest score possible for the app. !
it would have been best to have one report a small balance, but it's probably too late to make that happen on Monday. But if it is possible, the fastest way to get the charge to post would be to do a cash advance rather than a purchase.
You might want to wait on your application.

Yes but not on the time frame you're talking about.
I will just have to wait a few more days before I can app after the bureas''s are updated.
No you will probably have to wait for another reporting cycle.
Whew !
So glad that I have more time for that purchase to post now.
The cash advance idea is a great Idea, never thought of that.
The only bad thing is that I wouldnt be able to get a cash advance from the Lowes card.
I made a purchase yesterday hoping that it wasnt too late.
The transaction will have around 40 hours to post to my account.
Whats all the red about.
love the positive attitude !
Thanks for the support
I am not concerned about it reporting
I made the transaction in time,
but I appreciate you chiming in with your comments.
