What happens after we remove AU status?

What happens after we remove the AU status? Do they completely remove the AU account from the Credit Report or do they just stop reporting the balances and other details about account on AU Credit Report? Trying to figure out what happens after we remove the AU status.

The TL will disappear once removed as an AU.

I have asked Discover to remove the AU. I'll wait few weeks and see how it works out and then decide to take the next steps.  Thanks for you input.
