What in tarnation is going on with TransUnion - score rollercoaster

I was a part of another thread discussing an unexplained drop by 32 points on TransUnion at the end of March (FICO only, grabbed via myFICO, FAKO did not move during this time according to TU direct + WalletHub + CK). I've seen several other posts with the same topic.

Today, my score shot right back up again, back to 695, with no change to my history. (annoyingly, Disco does my AR on the 3rd, so I am probably stuck ungraduated for another month, at least).

I don't have any CFAs, but I do have old lates on paid off student loans.

Unknown.

Could've been something awkward in the data legitimately, or TU has historically had problems with their service pulling from a different dataset which either had cached data or pulling from a dataset that had a longer-term memory than the main consumer database.  In the most documented case (CAPTOOL if you search) a tax lien apparently would repeatedly be added / be gone according to MF but not other services.  Eventually it got resolved.

Disputes if you have any running could also have done it, unfortunately the only diagnosis I have seen is a before and after report.  Either way I'd ignore it for now and see if it reoccurs.

No disputes currently or recently with TU.

I'm uncertain that it is related to MF primarily, as I checked some soft-pull sites to see if the score changes were the same (there are so many now... it's easy to cycle :X), and they were.

Either way, going to continue tracking it to see if I can catch any clues. I hope the others I've seen posting with similiar issues can chime in with their data as well.

No score drops for me.  My score is already low.   I'm still trying to figure out why my score reflects my most recent late as 2 months ago even though my only derogs are a bk and state tax lien from 2011 and the associated accounts with the bk.

I hope your score stays up for you now!

My statement cuts tomorrow.
