Has anyone else had this experience. My $8600 credit card went from reporting $7689 to $5500 and I only got a 6 pt bump? I thought that would atleast give me about 10pts. What has been your experience when laying down credit card balances?
Your still at 55% util and didnt pass the 48 or 28% thresholds. Lower the better. That is if its the only card with a balance too.
Thank you for the response. It's not my only one but I didn't account for the thresholds.

Yes, everyone has had that experience.
You can't expect big changes from small things.
Understood. Thanks for the response!
Also, how did you get your cards in your wallet to show on your signature?

Agree with the comments above, also it's very difficult to assess the impact of paying a single card down without knowing what utilization looks like on your other revolving accounts.
Thank you for the response!
Understood.
I have three cards:
$500 limit- $35 remaining
$1100 limit- Maxed
$8600 limit - $5500 (the one I paid down by $2000)

Your total utilization looks to be around 65%, until you get that down you aren't gonna see much of a change .
