When does MyFico update after receiving update from credit card?

I have a card issued through Chase with a 12,500 limit. Last month I paid the utilization down from basically 100% to 60% causing my score to raise 8 points. This month I paid the utilization down to 2%.

MyFico shows the new balance of 2%, though my score hasn't changed at all. Am I wrong to expect my score to increase by 10 - 20 points?

all your other cards reporting a 0 balance? (some say best scoring = 1-9% on 1 card and all others 0)

Re: When does MyFico update after receiving update from credit card?

So now MyFico sends an alert about the balance decrease, but my score doesn't change at all?  How absurd is this?  This is my only credit card.  I pay down the balance from $7500 to $300 (60% utilization to 2%) and my score doesn't change by even a single point?

Credit reporting and MyFico is a scam.

Welcome to my world!

Had a CC report from 200 dollars then 7k, lost 25 points. overall owed 12k. I now owe 5k, and the 5k is the one that was 7k. My scores raised up 2 and 4 points!

Makes 0 sense how it can fall so fast, yet rise sooooo slow. You are going against the system for sure.......

Credit reporting and MyFico is a scam. Neither credit reporting and MyFico is a scam.  It's an algorithm that is impartial and neutral.  It's not out to get you.  The entire structure of the Fico scoring system hinges on it being a reliable indicator to creditors of creditworthiness.  That being said, if you do not have any other baddies, youwill see your scores go up.  This will include next month as you continue to pay down your cards.

Because it's an algorithm, each individuals' profile will have a different result based upon the actions taken.  As mentioned on other posts, your scores are determined by several factors including pay history and credit utilization.  Do either of you currently have ANY baddies on your reports?  Late payments, collections, liens or Bankruptcies?
