Thanks!  Def something I'll keep in mind as well.  I also read somewhere that AMEX only reports if a minor child is over 16 (please correct me if I'm wrong about that).  My son is 13, so I was able to add him as an AU, but I don't think AMEX will report the account for another couple years anyway.  Thanks to the excellent advice in this forum, I decided to add my son and daughter to my Citi Double Cash back, as it appears Citi reports the accounts without an age limit.  I'll check their credit reports in a couple months to verify.

No I think AMEX does it at 13, if I recall correctly. And good call @NoHardLimits I was gonna say that and forgot, they don’t backdate.

Ah ok.  I'll verify when I pull his credit in a few month and update this thread.
