When I got denied a CLI from AMEX they also gave me a FICO score of 725. Is this a TU? EQ? Neither? I'm curious now because I just got my EX for free via US Bank and it's 40 points lower.
Presumably it's Experian, because that's the report that AmEx pulls.
Dunno what version of EX score US Bank supplied you...

US Bank has a link to http://www.experian.com/ and the score is calculated there.
Oh ok. PLUS scores don't matter, only FICO scores do?

You got that information earlier today and posted about it here: AMEX Clear CLI DENIED!
In that post part of what Amex sent you in their denial letter was this:
We obtained your FICO score from Experian and used it in making our credit decision. Your FICO score is a number that reflects the information in your credit report. Your FICO score can change, depending on how the information in your credit report changes. On July 09, 2011, your FICO score was 725. The FICO score ranges from 300 to 850.
From a BK years ago to:
EX - 3/11 pulled by lender- 835, EQ - 2/11-816, TU - 2/11-782
"Some people spend an entire lifetime wondering if they've made a difference. The Marines don't have that problem".
Even Experian's own site clearly states that NO LENDER uses the Plus Score.

Thanks. I should've read that more closely the first time!
