Hello everyone, new at myFico sorry if its in the wrong section.
So, my scores are like this and I am not really sure which one is the precise score that I can take reference?
- Discover App (Based on FICO Score 8 from TU)
703
- Chase App (Based on VantageScore 3)
731
- Credit Karma (Based on VantageScore 3)
TU - 731
EQ - 685
- Experian App (Based on FICO 8)
EX - 708
EQ - 695
TU - 710
Also, I have moved to the USA recently (1.5yrs ago) and my credit history is just 7 months old. Do you guys think I am doing good?
Right now I have Discover Secured cart with 400$ and expecting to graduate this month. And my other cards are Apple card with 1K cli and PayPal credit with 250$ which I really regret because they don't allow me to use it even though they have given instantly.
Thank you in advance.
FICO score versions (there are 28 versions of them, including auto, mortgage, bankcard, and FICO9, and all vary from one another) are the scores used by the majority of lenders to make credit decisions. Lenders may use any of the 28 FICO score versions they see fit, but the most common is FICO 8.
Both scoring models/algorithms are precise, but Vantage behaves differently than FICO in how it weighs various aspects of, and changes to, your credit profile. There can be as much as a +/- 100 point gap between Vantage and FICO for the same profile.
FICO are the primary scores with which you should concern yourself. Vantage scores are free, which is why some lenders opt to provide them to their consumers.
And yes, for new credit, you are doing very well!
Welcome to the forums!
Yes, you are doing very well. Paypal credit can be limiting. I believe you might qualify for American Express. They like people just starting out with credit. Check the prequalify site

FICO scores are much more useful in a practical, everyday sense. I don't know of any entity dispensing credit products who uses Vantage Scoring.

Probably This^^^^^
You want rely on your Fico 8 scores as creditors/lenders use them to evaluate your creditworthiness.
Thank you very much for the answers
It's also possible that the different suppliers of the score are referencing different dates. Be sure to compare what date the score was generated because your score can change frequently.
But like others have said you want to focus on the fico models, no one really uses vantage except for giving you a free score. Most lenders use one or multiple fico models
I thought my auto lease servicer used Vantage--because he quoted my Vantage score that day.
It turned out to be my Experian Auto FICO, which was 30 points lower than my FICO 8.
