Re: Why did my score drop?

Now that you know this affects you too OP, when you want a better 8 & 9 score for a pending CC app, carry a small balance on one of your cards _and_ the AU card. (AZEO on your cards in your name and balance on the AU too)

If you want a better _mortgage_ score, AZEO and _no_ balance on the AU.

I enjoy the "game" of learning how the scoring works.

When your mortgage goals are done, experiment with this for your own sake if you're inclined.

Carry a balance on the AU, something small like $20. Then record score.

Report a zero balance next month, record score.

Put balance back on. Then compare numbers.

You're in a very small bubble. This doesn't happen to many folks. The ones it does happen to don't notice the fluctuations and if they do, its easily dismissed. You're in that small bubble and in an even smaller bubble, which is you here talking about it.

We'd love to hear the results down the road when you have the opportunity, not even close to enough data points on this.

Re: Why did my score drop?

That’s exactly what I thought @omgitsMatt , but wanted to double check. Thank you!

Matter fact, had I thought about it, @Anonymous was working on EX2 for an app and when the AU reported 0, same thing, decrease on 8 and increase on EX2. I had pre-warned cuz we had just confirmed that. Sure enough same response.

Had to get under the 15% line on EX2 to optimize score. Maize had amazing results on EX2.
