Why did my score go up 9 points?!?

I am not complaining though ..lol but I disputed a CA account with equifax that is all that I did .. I also did it with experian and it came back as verified.  Does your score go up when you dispute a account?  I have never seen this before?

Thanks

Congrats! No-unrelated to the dispute. What is the name of the CA?

llecs... Thanks

The name of the CA is Anderson Financial Network/Bloom for a Verizon account that I never have opened, ever. It should be falling off though right?  Im sorry for the questions this is confusing to me... My best friend told me I should just be happy with the increase.. but I want to know why? lol

Re: Why did my score go up 9 points?!?

Could be improved utilization. An acct anniversary. Maybe AFNI removed a late or the "Worst Delinquency" changed on the FICO report following the dispute. Could be a number of things.

My EQ FICO just increased 11 pts from 10 days ago. Have no clue why. Util was up 2-3%. I did have a 30 day fall off but it was 7 yrs old. The only thing I can think of is an acct anniversay. Got my Target in Dec. 2007, but reported for the first time last January.

Some questions can't be answered.
