Yes, it is unfortunate that you have to wait that long.  But, that doesn't mean your scores have to remain where they are at.  Usually you can still get them well into the 700's while having nagatives on your report.  You just have to work withthe rest of your profile on keeping everything in shape.  As time moves on and things grow, the scores will increase more and more.  It's not a death sentence to your scores by any means.
