I did close credit one and 2 capital one cards and a walmart card, they were redundant ant I didnt need them and i had read as long as you dont mess your utilization ratio up it wont affect the scores?
Student loans going down, 1% utilization
6 active cards, I did close a car loan which caused aggrigate installment to go up, but have paying that down, went from 745 (733, when the car loan reported paid), 731, and now 722. Keep in mind fico 8s havent flinched, I dont get it

New accounts?
No nothing has changed excluding the paid off car loans and the card closures no inquiries no new accounts
Sorry your score has gone down. Hopefully it bounces back soon! I think anytime you close some cards it has the potential to make your scores dip because you lose some age of credit. Unless the cards you closed were the newest cards in your profile that is probably one reason why. Sometimes you also go down because you lose part of your credit limit when you close cards which could affect your overall utilization (from your post though I don't think this is an issue for you). Also with paying off a car lone I've read about others who did see a dip in their scores after paying off their car loans too. Some have lost a significant amount of points soon after paying their car loans off, 30 points and more.
Aging supposedly does not change on closed cards from fico, only vantage the drop from 745 to 733 I get from the loan but the drops to 731 and 722 make no sense
My fico9s are 50-60 points lower than my fico8s.
sucks.
DON'T WORK FOR CREDIT CARDS ... MAKE CREDIT CARDS WORK FOR YOU!
Any loan modifications?
Any baddies?
50-60 points is something serious.
6 open revolvers isnt enough lol
Like I said must be fico 9 thing, because 8s havemt flinched one bit, maybe lost a point on Transunion thats about it

@Anonymous yeah version 9 we don't have daily access to and it does seem to do the opposite of version 8 in a lot of instances.
there's a lot of unknowns still with it. it would be nice to be able to figure out those unknowns. What is the delinquency?
