Why such a big difference in Equifax and Transunion?

I just pulled transunion through here and my score is 695. (yay! So close to 700!) I just pulled equifax through here as well and it was 641. Why is there such a difference?

Editing to add that Equifax shows a baddie, delinquint collections of $38 for a medical bill from 2008. Problem being that this was actually from 2004 AND it was paid in 2010 when I became aware of it. It still shows as a baddie and not paid (though the Experian that credit report that I got shows as paid and it doesn't show at all on Transunion). I am trying to dispute it, but cannot get the page to load and keep getting an error. Would that be the factor in such a huge score difference or is this normal?

It's not unusual (at least in my experience) to have quite a variance across all my scores as you can see. Even if all three CRA's have exactly the same information (highly unlikely) there will be differences in the scores because each CRA looks at information with a slightly different formula.

For example TU always dings me for "Your non-mortgage balances are too high" whereas EQ ignores all that.

From a BK years ago to:
EX - 3/11 pulled by lender- 835, EQ - 2/11-816, TU - 2/11-782

"Some people spend an entire lifetime wondering if they've made a difference. The Marines don't have that problem".

Okay, thank you. :-) How frustrating is that? haha You'd think they'd be able to figure something out to get all of them on the same page, but then we wouldn't have to pay for each of them, would we? ;-)

I pulled both of my scores here today too and my EQ is 802 (hooray) and TU showed up with a 720.  Info is the same, but TU is dinging me for my length of credit history and EQ says it's a benefit.  Oh well.

I am starting the" looking for a house process", so since 720 is either going to be my low or mid-score, I'm hopeful that the process will go smoothly. But just wanted to let you know that you're certainly not alone.
