Why such a big difference in scores?

TU 777 EX 738 EQ 754 all the reports are exactly the same except for inquiries. TU has 22 ex has 20 EQ has 18 most are over a year old. I don't understand why my scores are so different.

That is interesting. If it were only by 10 points or less, I would have said ignore it.  But there has to be something that is different somewhere.  It just doesn't add up if there wasn't a difference, and the inquiries you listed shouldn't have caused that much of a spread when the totals are pretty close to each other.

Re: Why such a big difference in scores?

I was just wondering if the bureaus weight things differently.

My reports ARE different, but for example, in April, nothing changed besides adding an auto loan. My EQ dropped significantly, my TU and EX increased.

Capital One Savor: $6,000; PenFed Power Cash Rewards: $3,500; Nordstrom Visa: $3,300; PenFed Gold: $2,500; Capital One: $2,500; Mission Lane: $2,500; Credit One: $2,000;
Store Cards: Kohls $2,500; Home Depot: $1,000; Target: $900; LOFT: $700; Amazon: $350

Re: Why such a big difference in scores?

I've had differing scores of 30-40 points before across the bureaus with identical (or nearly identical) information.  Sometimes these things simply can't be explained and I think glitches happen more commonly than most realize.  A month ago my EQ score was in the 770's while my other 2 scores were in the 730's.  Now all of my scores are in the 730's; obviously the 770's EQ score was bogus at the time.  Of course on the surface it was frustrating to me as in the last month I got rid of 2 baddies, paid overall utilization down from 34% to 5% and paid down a large chunk of one of my installment loans... all of that would normally translate to an increasing score but since my EQ score to begin with was bogus all it did was fall from week to week until it landed in the 730's like my other 2 scores where it seems to have leveled out.
