my score drops 15 points for no reason, anyone can explain to what happened here, still can't sleep.
@elixerin wrote:heya fellow MF'ers, so i checked my Experian FICO on the 11th (after an AZEO balance decrease) and it had just gone up 7 points.
The very next day(12th), nothing at all changed profile-wise, course not even the usual 1st of the month mini AAOA point boost that i usually get but surpringly (and happily i might add) my score shot up 12 points with zero other changes, is this a norm? usually when the balance decrease hits(11th as shown below) the score jump would also be consecutive and automatic, in other words executed at the same time/day. No? thoughts?
I thought i had just got to 707 for my AZEO efforts but looks like 12 points got.. what delayed a couple days? is that even possible..
(should probably mention i have had the daily Experian FICO active for quite a while too)
thanks all
I have never known my Experian score to change when there was no difference at all between that day's report and the prior day's report.
So color me skeptical.
If you're talking about the alerts, they're not meaningful to me. They do not tell you what's different about that day's report compared to the prior day's report.

It didn't drop for no reason.
You just haven't compared that day's report to the prior day's report, which you need to do to figure out what the reason was.

@SouthJamaica alerts were more of a security, there was no credit activity whatsoever since the balance updates (each of which closed this month on 6-7th).. when i had mentioned i combed the reports often, i meant pretty much daily for about a month or so ongoing so i got pretty familiar with everything that was on my (Experian^) report.
Other than the only two balance updates shown above inflicting the scores (albeit delayed for some reason) and maybe those inquiries from last year im not sure what the 1-3 day point/balance delays are.. never happened before, prior i had gotten all my boosts and decreases (with no credit activity other than balances ofcourse) for the month shown to me by the 7th or 8th depending on amex and then stagnate till the next month
Not a big deal, just odd in a surprising yet exciting way
@elixerinNo, the balance changes caused some and the inquiries becoming unscorable caused the others. Doesn't change without a change in the data. It's a mathematical algorithm. 2+2=4 no matter what.
You say they updated 6th-7th, but not at EX, the alert shows it was updated there on the 9th and 11th with resulting point changes the following day. So, it was added end of day probably and at 12:00am became live with score change IMHO.
When a furnisher/creditor submits a monthly update, it is not always instantly updated/integrated. There is sometimes a interstitial period. This can cause a delay in the data being posted to your CR and resulting score.
EX is usually pretty good about being quick and better than the others, usually, but delays sometimes occur. I've noticed an uptick in the frequency since the pandemic.
As for @TekkenQQ7 , did you take a HP to get those CLIs? Compare the reports line by line the 18th, 19th and 20th.
@Birdman7No HP because I am an AU on that card plus VS is SP, everything the same no new accounts, no HPs plus no activity between the 9th and the 20th, I can't think of anything else.
See if an old account aged off.
Something changed.

What’s the reported balance on the AU account?
I assume you have at least one reported balance on your primary cards?
