compromised credit card affecting credit score

My credit card was compromised and replaced with a new account number.  Does this negatively impact my credit score?

Nope, in fact it may help your AAoA a bit, but I'm not 100% on that

How could a newer account help your average age of accounts?

Are they reporting this as a new account? If you are not getting the old age of the account, then you need to call them and tell them to get this right.

The "new" account carried over all the same aging etc, so it sounds like this is a moot point.  Thanks all for your input!
