confused.....

Got a sw today balance on one account trippled and score went up. Yhoughts?

Whenever you see a SW alert, don't always assume that the score increase or decrease was a result of the specified account. For example, I once got a SW alert for +20 points because I added an inquiry. The inquiry did not add 20 to my EQ FICO, but other things happened on EQ which resulted in a net gain of 20 (specifically, a baddie dropped after reviewing my reports further). So in your case, the balance increase didn't increase your FICO, but you had a net gain due to other things happening on your EQ report (e.g. balance decreases on other CCs, aging accts, dropped baddies, etc.).
