i searched the forum for some sort of post relating to this and really found nothing to help me understand this... possibly im not typing in the correct search strings...
so i'll ask here and see if anyone else can help... im trying to understand what happened with my eq score. i am trying to buy a lot, so i started getting my credit in line 6 months ago... everything was working out great... until this month...
last month i pulled both my eq and tu scores from myfico eq was a 690 and tu was a 719 (for the lot the requested a 700, so i wanted to be sure both were above)
anyway... i paid my 3 cc's down, i was at 45% on one 42% on another and 41.5% on the third. i paid all 3 down to 25% uti. this is reflected on the current score pulls on both eq and tu. nothing else has changed, no inq. no negatives, no new accounts, nothing... i simply paid down debt and was expecting at least 2-5 pts increase with the lower uti. i pull my scores and eq drops 13 pts and tu goes up 10?... i have double checked last months eq report with the new one side by side on my desk and there is NOTHING different other than cc uti being lower on the newer one... one of my accounts aged a month more while the others havent reported aaoa but i was assume this too would help not hurt....
i am really baffeled by this drop....???
