I am disputing those paid medical collections that are not mine, right? Somehow EX gets one of my accounts that was IIB included in this mess, even though I did NOT dispute this account. It's set to fall of 2/12 anyway. The CA (not the one I'm fighting) updated. Now it says "Date reported" as 10/24/11. My FAKO dropped over 100 points. I called EX today and she says that the DOFD is 2/05 and it is still set to fall of 2/12 and the account hasn't been re-aged. (thank goodness) My questions are: 1. Does the scoring model of various FAKOs go by the Date Reported and that's why it dropped so much? Has anyone heard of FAKO's doing that? 2. Does anybody know what FAKO model EliminateIDTheft uses for their Experien Score? I know it's not what freecreditscore/report.com uses bc I've compared them. I appreciate any help w/ either or both of these questions because as I said, My Fako is Freaking Me Out! EX IS MY BEST SCORE!! (Even though nobody uses it).
If you know lenders don't use this score and it's worthless why do you even look at it? I don't understand how a useless number could cause aggravation.
Ignore all things FAKO all the time and your stress level will automatically decrease. ![]()
ETA: EliminateIDTheft uses the TransRisk score.
From a BK years ago to:
EX - 3/11 pulled by lender- 835, EQ - 2/11-816, TU - 2/11-782
"Some people spend an entire lifetime wondering if they've made a difference. The Marines don't have that problem".
See and I'm worried about my EX the most! EX was my middle score the last time I went to the bank, and so far seems to be the middle one again. It's hard to know just how accurate that score is since it is a FAKO and it's driving me crazy! I too pulled my CR from EX during the free Protect my ID trial and that's when I was given my EX score. Nothing stinks worse than knowing your EX score would be the one to determine if you qualify for a loan or not and not having a way to get it (except for having to apply for something). How close was your EX Fako from what the bank showed you at when you applied for your loan?
freecreditscore.com was MUCH closer - within 20 points or so.
The eliminateidtheft EX score is over 100 points off, I'm sure of it. (LOWER than my EX FICO).
Credit karma uses TU and it was 100 points LOWER than my husband's TU FICO.
I know what you are going through.
I just was denied for my union's credit card (get discounts, No APR etc). They pulled EQ and said my score was 658. Reason for denial, the bk =- but I know it wasn't a FICO they used bc it says the score ranges are 150-950. What a crock.
