It hasn't been not even amonth since I had the inquiry

The inquiry didn't do that...it's likely your other accounts aging that did it. And it could easily be other things happening on your reports that did it as well like improved util (maybe when the new account reported if a CC) or improved accounts.

Remember, don't take SW alerts to face value. It could be a half-dozen other things combined that resulted in a net increase.
