hopefully it's just the simulator ...

We just refi'd our mortgage & HELOC, and the simulator is now treating our >$50K HELOC as a credit card.

It didn't do that with our prior HELOC.

The TU & EQ FICO Credit-At-A-Glance sections show the account in the Mortgages section.

Any reason to be concerned?

['Cause our scores are gonna be in the sewer if our HELOC is treated as credit card debt.]

Don't worry about the simulator results.  HELOCs with CLs above the $40,000-$50,000 are not included in the calculation of your utilization of revolving credit.

The HELOC might be categorized as revolving (because it really is a revolving credit account), but the classification itself does not determine how it will be scored.
