Re: how long does it take for other scoring models to catch up

Are you talking about the MF product specifically, or just in general?

Score change once the new report data is run through those algorithms.  If you see one score change, that means that your credit report data has changed.  The only reason you haven't seen the other scores update is because that data hasn't yet been fed through those algorithms to yield a new score.  If you were to go to a different source for one of those other scores today and it pulled your current report, you'd get a current score for that model.

They "update" the moment information changes on your credit report. For credit monitoring they only update when you pull a new report

Only the version eight updates. Otherwise you have to pull a report to get updates on the other scores

It should show the date of each score.  Your dashboard scores no doubt say today and I'm guessing the date on the other scores is older.  Is that correct?  I don't have a MF subscription so I do not know how often the other scores get refreshed.

your right.....on dashboard it has date, ive always know that

but went i went onto other scores it has a date of 12/26!....wth why so far behind?....so is that accurate or has my other scores increased as well just not updated thru MF?......i only get quarterly reports and thats when my last report was.....so it only updates other fico scores quarterly becasue of my subscription possibly?

Re: how long does it take for other scoring models to catch up

That sounds correct.  The scores you are looking at are dated 12/26, so they're old news since you know that your credit report has changed since then and that those scores are likely higher now.  Perhaps you won't get another pull of those scores (using your most recent credit report data) until late March if quarterly updates is what your subscription gets you.

So yes, your other scores have changed as well (likely also increased) you just can't see them yet from that source.  If you were to apply for a credit product (loan, card, whatever) today and they used any of those other scoring models, the prospective lender would see your most recent score drawn on your current CR data, not what you are seeing dated 12/26.

Re: how long does it take for other scoring models to catch up

yeah my next report is 2/26....its every 3 months not quarterly (my bad)

ive been looking at my auto scores, etc this whole time wondering why they were so much lower than my dashboard scores.....my fico 9 EQ auto was 729 when my dashboard score was 668, and now my dashboard is 711 so F9EQ auto is probably much higher today....as well as TU F9 auto and all rest of auto scores

thanks so much!, youve been very helpful since i joined this forum (on alot of topics)....and to others as well who have expertise in this area

Re: how long does it take for other scoring models to catch up

Just a FYI, if your last quarterly update was 12/26, three months from that point would be 3/26 not 2/26 so it may be another 6 weeks or so until you get to see all of those scores update again.
