myFico data feed/updates not occurring and missing info

My report was generated on 3/7 (when I purchased a 1 year Ultimate subscription).

Looking at this report, there are 2 inquiries on EX and 4 on the EX report from experian.com. 1 of the 2 from experian is 3 months old, so it should have shown up on myfico but did not. The other was from Feb 20, approx 3 weeks prior to myFico subscription.

After my 3/7 subscription, I apped for Barclays. I immediately got a creditkarma alert for the HP but nothing from myFico.

In fact, my dashboard scores have been stuck with the same score and data as of with my subscription start date, 3/7. I thought the score watch portion of my sub was supposed to give daily alerts. Called CS and they claim they only update when the CRB's send them data. How can a free service like CK send out alerts within a few hours of an HP (and adjust score), but here we are, a week later, no alerts, same score, and after paying for a report on experian there is data there not present on myFico EX?

I wasn't really thrilled to be blown off by CS and considering cancelling and getting a refund for the remaining 11 months.

Not sure where you got that impression, but it isn't the case nor does MyFico claim it to be the case. Alerts are generated by specific events that vary slightly by bureau. You can get detailed info in this thread:

I guess I wrote that out wrong. I didn't mean daily alerts in the case of nothing changing, but alerts / data refreshes when something does. Kind of strange that CK notified me days ago on a HP and adjusted scores while I'm still waiting here. Not to mention the EX issue -- not sure why I can see 2 HP on Experian.com that don't show up here. Anyways, maybe I'm jumping the gun. We'll see what happens over the next few weeks. I just don't want to be overconfident and app for something based on what I see here when the actual data is worse,

I concur, myfico is pretty slow to update. I'm still waiting on a balance change on here that's been listed for two weeks elsewhere. Not to mention, I'm getting text notifications today that actually happened 3 and 4 days ago. Starting to regret my decision to subscribe, it does NOT perform as expected.

Re: myFico data feed/updates not occurring and missing info

It may seem slow, but in reading the FAQs on the monitoring system and so forth, MyFico says that there are a number of variables that may come into play when you sign up for the service.  Therefore, you may or may not get alerts at various points in at the start of your service.  I am not making excuses for MyFico because no one is offering me a pay check but I thought it might be a possible cause.

On a similar note, I got two cell phone alerts which were like several days old from the actual alert here on the site?  Also, I notice that  alerts will occur on one day and the date will not coincide.  For example, I recently got an alerts on the 10th through 12th and the dates show the 8th of March?

Yes, frequently TU will appear as an Alert on one day, and the "date of alert" will be two or three days in the past, it is put in the timeline of alerts according to the "date of alert", earlier.

Thus, the need to be patient to wait for the alerts to make their way through the databases.

I have not received anything. I've had 2 inquires with near immediate alerts on CK and nothing here. EX report on their website shows HP from the CRB 3-4 months ago that aren't on myFico. myFico scores stuck from 3/7/15, yet the free services are showing fluctuations. I'm just concerned that I can't use myFico as an accurate representation of my snapshot for apps. As many of us know, 2-3 recent HP's can drop you below the threshold on some apps. I am well past 3 days on 1 recent HP and on the third for one from Amazon storecard. No alerts, no score changes.

Re: myFico data feed/updates not occurring and missing info

Well, you know your HP. Since you just did two, you are done apping for a while right? As CC balances report with the statement, that will trigger any recalculations that are necessary.

and if you waited 3 days, wait 5 Smiley Tongue

Re: myFico data feed/updates not occurring and missing info

My TU hp for my mortgage app never triggered an alert by my fico. Eq showed up after a week, EX after 10 days. TU no notification and its going on 30 days. I got tu immediately on CK eq after 2 days on CK.

I've never gotten an update from TU - for anything. There is some kind of incomprehensible "baseline" that TU must establish before it starts generating alerts. Something about having to add two new accounts.

ETA: Found the info:

4. After enrolling in the monitoring service, a baseline has been set at TransUnion. The initial or first credit event will set a baseline against which all future changes are measured and alerted against. So using the example below, the first NEW CREDIT CARD #1 will set the baseline and no alert will be triggered. The second NEW CREDIT CARD #2 will result in a change to the monitored baseline and should trigger a New Account Alert. What this means to you is that there will likely be a delay of when you start receiving account balance change alerts for TransUnion.
