sCORE JUMP THEN DECREASE

Good morning,

My capitol one finally reported on the 11th and my score jumped up 27 pts. When Credit one finally reported on the 14th my score went back down 27 pts. Can someone explain this to me please. No late payments. Keepint UTI at 15% for both.

Re: sCORE JUMP THEN DECREASE

Are these your only credit cards? If so then you got a boost for having a new account then dinged for having all your cards reporting a balance.

Re: sCORE JUMP THEN DECREASE

So only one card should have a balance reporting?

Re: sCORE JUMP THEN DECREASE

You'll still get dinged for having 50% of your cards reporting, but should be a smaller ding. Try to get a third card and only have one reporting.

Is the Capital One card brand new, first reporting?

Is the Credit One a new card, first reporting?

What other cards do you have? What is their status for balances vs credit limit? How long have they been reporting?

What are your scores and where are you tracking them?
