scoreinfo.org FICO Score Factors Guide - decrypting the scoring reasons

I came across this page and it really helped me decrypt the messages on my credit report.  You know which messages I'm talking about, the classic lines regarding what affects my score, such as "Proportion of balances to credit limits too high on revolving accounts."

Anyway, if you want to understand those messages, I strongly suggest you go to:

http://www.scoreinfo.org/FICO-Scores/Pages/Score-Factors.aspx

It does a great job explaining the messages and what to do about them.

Here's a full list of codes if you ever want reading material:

I think this is still available....if you go to myFICO.com/12 and order through there, it'll show your top 4 negative scoring codes which is the same as lenders see. WARNING though...it'll place a cookie on your browser and future reports would be through them. You'd have to clear that cookie.
