So i disputed Merrick CC on my equifax a few days ago. I paid this a couple months ago. It was charged off. When i checked credit karma and click on see what changed the only thing it says is Consumer disputes - reinvestigation in progress.. not sure if it will update and fall off?  I was under the impression when i talked to Merrick they said they would deleate the trade line once it's paid.  Would the boost be because it's under reinvestagation?

Honestly this is not your FICO score so I wouldn't try to figure it out.

CK is not the scoring system used by almost all lenders and their scoring analogies really don't mean much for scoring purposes.

While CK as a CMS is great for detecting and monitoring things....the scores are useless.

When an item is under dispute it acts as if it's not there partially or completely depending on the CRA you're working on.

Just wait for the dispute to play out and see what the results are. 

If Merrick said once you paid it they would delete it then why did you open a dispute?

Do you have a Fico score source where you can see how one of your Fico scores reacted to an account being in dispute?

OE, Partially depending on CRA? Can you please elaborate and explain that? I’ve never heard that before. So you’re telling me the algorithm treats the disputes differently at different CRA‘s? That has not been my experience at all. They were totally removed from consideration at every CRA in my experience.
