Got approved Hyatt yesterday (2/29) 10:45pm ET instantly, account showed up online right way.
Assume chase will report a new account opened on 2/29, do I have one month or one day account age for AAoA calculation on this particular account as of today (3/1)?
1 day

^ you sure? the credit report shows it started 02/01. they always use the first of the month i have noticed. i vote it's 1 month of reporting for that card
How do you know it will show 02/01 as when it's opened? His question was if it showed as opened on 2/29. If it didm then it would be one day, not one month

true. all of my accounts (on experian) show opened on the first of all months, including chase.
I agree. 2 of 3 of my credit reports show the first of the month for all my "account open" dates. Only one shows the actual date it was open.

that's why i said, realistically, it'll count for a month.
True but that's not what he asked. Of course it will be one month if it shows 2/01
