when does AAoA start counting?

Got approved Hyatt yesterday (2/29) 10:45pm ET instantly, account showed up online right way.

Assume chase will report a new account opened on 2/29, do I have one month or one day account age for AAoA calculation on this particular account as of today (3/1)?

How do you know it will show 02/01 as when it's opened?  His question was if it showed as opened on 2/29.  If it didm then it would be one day, not one month

I agree.  2 of 3 of my credit reports show the first of the month for all my "account open" dates.  Only one shows the actual date it was open.

True but that's not what he asked.  Of course it will be one month if it shows 2/01 Smiley Tongue

I believe on Experian it will count as 1 month, but on the bureaus that show the actual date, 1 day.
