I first learned programming in Fortran on punch cards. Haven't used either in a while.
Just a heads up that there are some issues with the Internet Explorer 9 browser and fixes are in the works as I type. As with any new browser release, it will take a little time for the software to get all the kinks out.
Please bear with and as marty56 has pointed out, "If you switch to IE 9 and you cannot post on responses, try using Compatibility View option."
Hi Rosie97,
I take it this was a IE9 issue and I see you were able to find a computer you could post from. Updates are coming, please hold on!

Compatibility View worked for me.
Posts a blank when using IE9 but also you cannot quote a post.
If you try and quote you get:
An Unexpected Error has occurred.
Sorry, your request failed. A notification has been sent to the development team for investigation.

Please click the Back button on your browser.
Remoting to a system with IE8 to post this message.

I have run into not being able to quote a post a few times but it has been very random using FF 3. When this happens again, make sure you have the cursor in the text box and try again. If you are using IE9, you will probably have to wait for the coming update.
Since I can't reproduce this issue it won't be any use to report it. Once I can identify what's causing it, I will report it.
