For myFICO.com? Haven't heard of that. I did have Norton Internet Security and visited this site without issue but moved away from Norton recently.

Yeah, in this forum.  It happens maybe once a week.  I click on a thread and it reports that it's supcious.  But i know it's a false positive though, at least that's what i think.

Re: Norton Block Suspicous Website

Thanks for alerting us to this, joestay!  It's definitely a false positive.

Symantec encourage its customers to submit websites misidentified as fraudulent via the web site:

https://submit.symantec.com/antifraud/false_positi ve.cgi

If a False Positive (FP) or a False Negative (FN) is noted, Symantec Response places that URL on either the "block" or "allow" list for correction. A new Block List is then created by the server and sent to the client via an updated config file (sometimes referred to as Fraud Definitions). A high majority of the time FP’s are corrected within minutes of being reviewed by Security Response. If the Web site has been found legitimate by Symantec, changes will made to the definitions on the LiveUpdate server to recitify this misdentification. Then you can run LiveUpdate to install those updates.

Same here. Lots of times I get it when I go on to a subsequent page of the same thread. I don't know if Norton just can't keep up or what, although they have a different message (other sites) saying something like, Norton hasn't checked this out yet, are you sure you want to proceed? But here on the forums, I get the big red message.

Re: Norton Block Suspicous Website

I've been too lazy to try to send the link to Norton. * ducks head in embarrassment *

If someone does send a link, it will only lead to that individual post on that thread. It might make more sense to just send the forums link.

If I can get back to working fewer than 60 hours a week, I'm going to try this... Smiley Tongue
