Why does Chrome's spell check not work in the text box when replying or making threads?

Why am I forced to click the spell check button in order to get spell check? Why doesn't Chrome's spell check work in these text boxes?

As somebody who doesn't know how to spell the words they use, it would be really nice if it worked. I have spell check enabled on a browser level, and it just appears to be happening here instead of elsewhere.

@GZG It doesnt work in any browser. They use https://www.tiny.cloud/tinymce/  as the text editor box it appears from "inspect". The spellchecker that works with TinyMCE is: https://tinymcespellcheck.com/ Its an add-on but not installed on the site.

I've noticed that's there, and it does work, it's just not nearly as seamless as just just letting chrome do it. I'll see if I can find something that implements native chrome spellcheck into the text editor or something.
