how do i block or mute someone?

i tried clicking that person's profile and clicking mute, but i received a notice that the TOPIC would be muted. can you mute just one person? when you do, does that mean that you no longer see their posts on the board at all, or will you just not receive their notifications?

You cannot block individual users.

In your settings, you can choose which notifications you want to receive and manage subscriptions to threads if you have any. 

If there is an issue with a post, feel free to report it. Click on three dots in the upper right corner and let us know why you think it's inappropriate.

At the present time there is no way to block/mute a person's posts on the forum. Best you can do is simply gloss over it and report/flag any posts that may break the rules from FSR to TOS to the moderation team for them to review
