how do you kudos a fellow poster?

Seen the star under your name after the avatar?  Click on that and it gives Kudos

Edit: See, I just hit that and gave you kudos for experiment..  So you have 1 before the star..

I have actually wondered this, too, as there are a few I'd like to kudo. But, none of the avatars have 'stars' next to or anywhere around them for me. All I see is poster name with avatar below, then post count, join date.  :/

Not all boards have this option to give Kudos. Did you look at  this by any chance?

Here it will work. If you look at your avatar you will see a 0 and a little star.. I will just hit that now and you can click on the number and see who gave you Kudos.

edit: and to give Kudos you click on the star 1 x it will add it

Thank you very much for the kudo and your efforts, but I am not seeing any stars near any member's name, regardless of thread location. Is it possible that it could be related to my low post status?

Thanks for the Kudos.. you did it..lol... Honestly I had no idea if it would be the same restriction as for HTML  that can be used only from Member rank but you found the explanation and I know the answer to this question now

Yep, I did it - and, I've been sitting here kudoing every person on the planet that did it for me since I joined, lol. I felt like a complete ditz for not checking Settings first, but at least I gave you a good laugh!
