Another issue with updates not being received

I signed up fro SW in the beginning of September.  Since then I have had a few collections removed from my report, paid off one acount in September and have paid down on another.  I saw my TU score improve but had not seen anything from SW except a couple emails saying that there were no major changes.  I had my Target score set at 665 which was listed as being the current score when I signed up for SW.  I was worried that I had not received any changes so I pulled my last free update this morning and found that the score had increased to 670.  Did I have my setting wrong to be notified of this change?  I know the program is finicky at times, but I want to make sure it isn't me that is the problem...

Does anyone have any imput for this problem?  I don't think it is right to be paying a monthly fee expecting to receive a notifcation when a change occurs and to get nothing until I use my Power Score report...

I don't know if the problem is me or SW...can anyone help?

Generally, items coming off of your report and balance reductions don't trigger SW alerts. As for your score change, it looks like you set your target correctly, but it's always hard to tell if you should have received a score alert, since SW only checks weekly for those and there's no way to know (without pulling a report everyday) exactly when your score changed.

My suggestion at this point is to sit tight for the next few weeks and see if you can at least get a score change alert. Then, if you haven't received anything, pull a new EQ report (a freebie has been added) and check for any changes you should have been alerted to. Also, you may want to read the Score Watch Guide stickeyed on this board to make sure you're clear as to what SW does and doesn't claim to do.
