Re: Any word on ScoreWatch for TransUnion?

Was there a word already floating around about this?

It would be nice to have. The quarterly thingy just doesn't quite get it for me.

While I wish we offered a montioring service similar to Score Watch for both TU and Experian, I'm sorry to have to report that are no plans to offer any new monitoring products from myFICO anytime soon.

Good idea, though, and thanks for asking!

Re: Any word on ScoreWatch for TransUnion?

Why is that Barry?   MyFICO is making so much money that they don't need anymore?    It boggles my mind that you and other myFICO personnel read the posts in this forum, see what a thirst we have for a quality monitoring product which includes FICO scores, yet just blows it off like it is a terrible idea.

I think the Big 3 are the smart ones, with their Plus, Vantage and other scoring products.  They may be FAKO's, they may be junk, but they are very profitable.    MyFICO isn't inclined to think outside of the FICO credit complete and Suzy Orman box.   Too bad.  Leaving lots of money on the table.

Boscoe, IMO there may be considerations we may not be aware of which prevent F.I from exploring those avenues.

Things such as licensure agreements, contracts, legal actions we are not aware of, etc, etc

Would really love an EX monitor as it is my lowest score, and also the only one that lenders in California seem to pull.

Starting Score: 556
Current Score: 672, 681, 692
Goal Score: 700, 700, 700

Re: Any word on ScoreWatch for TransUnion?

The CRA's have to want to do this. Remember that among other things, EX and TU have their own little in-house score scams going. Smiley Wink

From what I've picked up, FICO would LOVE to be able to provide three-report monitoring, single-bureau scorewatch, and all the rest. They love the color green as much as we do. But if the other parties aren't interested, they can't get very far.

BTW, this is why it costs so much to pull your FICO's. You didn't think that the CRA's were giving their reports up for free, did you? Smiley Happy

Everybody has their price........and everyone has a price they are willing to pay.   I guarantee it would be worth their while.

I agree with Hauling's assessment more than I believe "license agreements" or "contracts" as the reason.

It would be great for someone from MyFICO to simply tell us rather than making us guess and wonder.....
