Anyone else have 0% utilization but EQ always shows high revolving balances?

Title says it all...

0% uti, one card reporting a 262 dollar balance out of 10,000 2.62%, yet every month myFICO reports the negative reason state high revolving balances...and only for EQIMG_2670.jpeg

I know I have a very good score, I am just curious how basically zero uti 262/178k constituents a high revolving balance.

myFICO is my only source of EQ fico scores and I pay a lot of money to get my full reports I don't think it is unreasonable to expect accurate statements and information provided.

Anyone else see weird behavior on MF for EQ?

Have that same issue but on all 3 reports.

Credit scores are all ABOVE 780

Also have a statement saying my credit is not old enough...40 years since I opened my first Amex and still have it..

The "reasons" FICO shows are AFU sometimes

the score isn't 800+, so they can't show no reasons

the reason isn't wrong, FICO just doesn't have much to complain about for you, so the reason it picks is rather petty as you're noticing

get the score above 800, and they'll remove the reasons entirely or show green helpful reasons instead

Starting FICO 8:
Current FICO 8:

3/6, 3/12, 7/24 new accounts

Re: Anyone else have 0% utilization but EQ always shows high revolving balances?

As far as the reason codes for someone's "factors hurting your scores", imagine if you will a list of all the negative reasons that could possibly be listed from the worst offences (most influential) being at the top, to the least influential being at the bottom.

As the more influential reasons are eliminated (by your good behavior), the lesser ones rise to the top of the list. It seems like they just have to list something.  I've seen the same reasons on all 3 bureaus and thought "what are you even talking about (insert CRA here)"

The no reason codes above 800 also angers me and have posted about in the past... like I still pay 39.99 they don't give us a discount for providing less data.

And yet TU just shows three reason statements.

"Well they have to show something" is such a silly response... in fact EQ was reporting a card paid to zero as having a balance it just updated on eq removes the accounts with balances and I gained 6 points and when you get over 800 they refuse to show you anything so... They have to show something isn't true

I don't think it is unreasonable to expect inaccurate reason statements that lower your score to fall off

This is what I get from the free myfico sub. It shows balances on 3/9 accounts, 1%.

Go with the free version.
