Charged for Score Watch

Uh oh...So about a month ago I signed up for the 30 day free trial and pulled my two free score reports. During that month I also applied for and recieved credit and disputed an item being reported incorrectly by Equifax. My CreditKeeper account shows the collection under investigation. However, I never got an alert from Score Watch for the new inquiry or the investigation. The new account did trigger Score Watch on December 19th, but I had already used my 2nd free report on the 18th to see the new account and it's impact on my score.

After reading the product reviews in this forum, and because of my own experiences I decided to cancel it and not buy my year long subscription. But I stupidly waited to be contacted by e-mail to confirm whether or not I wanted to convert the free trial, and when I never got any e-mail as promised by the Risk-Free 30-Day Trial, I assumed that I wasn't going to be automatically enrolled. My mistake - today I looked at my credit card statement and I have been charged the $89.95. I'm actively working on fixing/establishing credit so there are constantly changes to my credit report and score, but if Score Watch isn't going to do a good job of updating me I don't think this is going to be a helpful service. Is it too late for me to cancel it?

Re: Charged for Score Watch

Also, when you buy the subscription does it not give you two new score reports?? My account is making it look like I'd have to buy the score report, even though I haven't used any since my card was charged for the subscription.

Re: Charged for Score Watch

Hi Mank....Sorry you weren't able to cancel your Score Watch subscription before being charged. Fortunately, myFICO gives you a few days after billing during which you can still cancel at not charge. A refund has been issued to you for $89.95.

Since you won't be able to view the reports already pulled once your SW is canceled, we've held off on canceling your subscription completely to give you some time to print out those reports if you think you might want to refer to them in the future. Then just let us know -- either here or contact myFICO Customer Support -- and we'll cancel it completely so you won't be charged again.

And to answer your question as to whether you get two more reports after being charged for SW -- unfortunately, not.

Hope that helps.
