Disappointed with new "look" of site - canceling

Too much fluff and it slows down the site something horrible.  I hate fluff.  Give me raw, organized data.

You should have preferences that let you chose the "new" look vs the classic.  Your web designers should be ashamed of what they've done to your site!!!!!!!

Hey Keith,

We are aware of the speed issues and we are working on improving the performance.

Thanks,

I couldn't agree more.  This redesign has completely killed the site for me.  I will not continue my membership -- the site does not work for me AT ALL.  It's really a shame because I found it to be a very useful tool over the last 10 years.  Now it is just a mess.

We're sorry to hear that the redesign is not working well for you. It would be appreciated and helpful if you can detail some specifics about the site that is not working for you. Also, if you could tell me what product you are enrolled in, that would also provide some context for what you are seeing. Thanks.

Agree - I can't find anything and it all seems like it was designed with big 'preschooler' sized graphics and icons.

Re: Disappointed with new "look" of site - canceling

I can't answer for the OP, but my problems with the new design (so far) are:

These forums, which are the best thing about MyFico, are hidden behind the non-intuitive menu item "Education."

I'm an EQ ScoreWatch subscriber still entitled to one more report and I'll be darned if I can find anyplace to get that report when I'm ready for it.

Since you have to change your target score every time your score changes (which is dumb but legacy dumb, not new dumb), it should be easy to find the setting to do that, but no, now it's hard to find.

In general, the new design emphasizes graphics over user friendliness. It's prettier and more modern, but that shouldn't have been achieved by making so many site functions so much more difficult. Please go back to the drawing board!

I agree with that the new design/look is worthless.  It is very hard to read and understand your data.  The graphic look SUCKS and I do not like it.  I have the scorewatch product and it is much less friendly, much harder to read, and I find no positive aspects of the redesign what so ever.  I wish I could find something positive to say about it but I can't find anything about it I like.

Please return to to the previous look or provide the user the ability to select the "New" look or the "Useful" look......

Thanks for your detailed feedback. To access your additional report, on the Dashboard's Recent Reports Module, you will see a link that says "Get a New Report". After clicking that, a new window will pop up and will default to the tab view of "Redeem" and display any unused / 'banked' reports available to you.

To change your target score setting, from the top right hand corner where your name is displayed, the roll over action will display a drop down menu and the "Alert Settings" menu option will appear. Clicking on that will get you to your Score Watch settings. I hope this helps. Cat Happy

Re: Disappointed with new "look" of site - canceling

Thank you, Karin_T. I appreciate that. But a better site design would be more useful than instructions on how to find features that have been hidden.

Another problem today. Great big one. I usually view these forums by using the "new posts" function to see what's happening in all areas. I don't just go to "Credit Cards" or "Auto Loans" or whatever. Unfortunately the "new posts" function has now entirely disappeared for me.

I'm also suddenly not able to give kudos to posts, though I was able to do it before.

Are these problems also caused by the disastrous new "improvements"? Anyhow, very distressing. I'm an everday visitor here but it's definitely getting harder and harder to use the site and that's discouraging.
