My wife and I signed up for 3 Bureau Credit Report and Scores. Now I regret it. What's the point? Maybe the FICO scores have limited value, but not the credit reporting. We have found multiple problems to dispute, but then we go to the source Experian to file a dispute, Experian doesn't even have that data, so she can't dispute it. I had the same problem with Equifax where myFICO shows data that Equifax didn't have. (Remember myFICO says they don't create any data at all, that it all comes from Experian, TransUnion, or Equifax) I am having a hard time seeing what value myFICO credit reporting is bringing to the table. I want my money back.
Frankly, I am disappointed with the product myself. It's been nearly a week and not a single alert. Odd...
Edited to remove information about update to credit monitoring services - customer service at MyFICO was able to assist me in straightening out the issue.
I'm extremely glad that I didn't order the 3 Bureau report again. I ordered the one Bureau report on the evening of the 28th and they stated can't update to new report format. Not much for customer service, but at least I'm only stuck for 30 days.
On the bright side, I may order another report in 3 months and 6 months, to see if simulator predicted correctly, and I'll get all of the scores then. Although, my curiosity was going to have me checking in 3 months, I will probably wait until 6 months now just because they weren't more customer friendly with the current report.
