can you tell me what Cct is

Credit Check Total, another monitoring solution providing FICO 8 and also I think 3 report pulls per month?

Good service from what I've read though I haven't used it personally, several threads here on the forum regarding it.

Re: Experian reporting on MyFico is worthless

The problem with Experian is that they use a subsidiary, Experian Direct, to do the reporting. According to a techie I got on the phone last year, there is a coding issue between Experian and Experian Direct that the company refuses to fix. When I called Experian to dispute something on the report on myfico, the operator told me there was no such item. When I pulled my report directly from Experian it was clear. Then went and pulled from the Experian Direct service and the problematic item was there. They need to fix the issue but won't.

I totally feel you on this one. Amex has my Experian score updated and correct but myFICO has not moved my score up since Aug 26th. The other two bureaus update regularly. Ridiculous.

Re: Experian reporting on MyFico is worthless

Myfico was/is too expensive for the EX score to be 2-3 weeks behind. This was/is ridiculous and was one of the reasons I dropped it. I was sick of the things that were supposed to trigger an update according to myfico.com itself, not triggering anything. But you could go to CK or even CS and then the event would be updated. A free service trumped a $30/month service.

Priceless. And I never got offered any coupon when myfico was defective. Myfico.com is good for the score variants, but not for getting reliable, updating scores. That's just a fact.

Eventually some service will come along that does it. CCT was/is the closest thing.

I wish CCT had a mobile app too. Also, I tried to sign up for CCT but it wouldnt let me for some reason. Probably an issue with their site.

Re: Experian reporting on MyFico is worthless

You should be able to sign up. Do you have EX Credit Tracker?

Or do you have Adblocker on your computer. I initially couldnt get past the second page of the signup process because my Adblocker wouldn't let the page load. If you do have it, don't let it run on CCT's domain.

Re: Experian reporting on MyFico is worthless

You are correct. I did have adblocker on. Just signed up for CCT and cancelled myFICO. My scores are so much more up to date on CCT. If and when myFICO get their act together with the app, I will jump back on.
