Re: FICO 3-Bureau Credit Monitoring Issues and Troubleshooting

I've finally received an update for Experian. It's weird though because it's for a more recent balance change. The oldest one still hasn't shown up. Still not a peep from Transunion. I know Transunion doesn't alert for balance changes but there should be a significant bump in my score because I decreased my utilization by a lot. I have the $19.95 version.

That's good to hear. I'm waiting for TU to update with a significant balance change and a CLI.

Plus I want to see how quickly the three scores update after an inactive credit card starts reporting again.

Starting Score-(01/2017): FICO ||EX:575--EQ:549--TU:588||
Current Score--(04/2018): FICO ||EX:686--EQ:697--TU:715||

Re: FICO 3-Bureau Credit Monitoring Issues and Troubleshooting

If you'll look closely at the description of the product it says that Transunion won't update the same as Eq or Ex.
There is a little * by Tu with notes on the bottom of the page.

Re: FICO 3-Bureau Credit Monitoring Issues and Troubleshooting

I saw the TU account balance disclaimer where alerts won't happen with changes in balances. I also did a CLI though and it should reflect around a 20 point score boost. The card was also over 90% UTIL so I had hoped one of those would update. EX isn't updating either though so who knows.

Starting Score-(01/2017): FICO ||EX:575--EQ:549--TU:588||

Re: FICO 3-Bureau Credit Monitoring Issues and Troubleshooting

Nevermind.....TU will rarely update for me if this is still correct.

FICO 3-Bureau Credit Monitoring monitors your credit report daily for:

  • Newly opened accounts
  • Inquiries from applications for new credit
  • Newly listed public records, such as bankruptcies, judgments, and tax liens
  • New addresses
  • Newly listed collection accounts
  • Increases and decreases in account balances (Equifax and Experian only)
  • Changes in account status, such as a missed payment (Equifax and Experian only)
  • Changes to public records and collection accounts (Equifax and Experian only)
  • New activity on accounts that were inactive (Equifax only)
  • Changes to the name listed on your credit report (Equifax only)
  • Account utilization changes (Experian only)

 But this gives me hope http://ficoforums.myfico.com/t5/myFICO-Product-Feedback/FICO-Score-Monitoring-Only-Shows-Equifax/m-p...

Re: FICO 3-Bureau Credit Monitoring Issues and Troubleshooting

I was browsing through their FAQ and Support Sections. It looks like they're eventually adding more support though so hopefully that happens.

Search I Used

I do wish that info was easier to find before I purchased but if its fixed in a future update I'm ok with it. I just would've held off until then but now I'm locked in for 3 months.

Re: FICO 3-Bureau Credit Monitoring Issues and Troubleshooting

I did do an app spree at the first of August, and TU hasn't even updated to reflect the new accounts. Credit  Karma has these listed, so I know TU has that information. *head desk*Smiley Frustrated I haven't even got updates about them from EX or EQ, either, despite updates/notifications from Credit Sesame and Quizzle.
