I am receiving notifications of accounts changes for TU and EX via other means but NOT for FICO'S 3 credit bureau monitoring service.

I've honestly think we've all been patient enough with the lack of action on the part of FICO in getting this taken care of by the proper people. Especially since people who paid for the $29.95 version aren't having this trouble from what I've read.

I've finally given in and contacted the BBB for California because maybe, just maybe, they can get FICO to straighten this out and allow cancellations until this is fixed. I had to buy an updated 3 score/3 report product just to know that TU has updated my score. I shouldn't be locked into another two months of service for a product that doesn't work as advertised.

It really isn't unreasonable for us, as customers, to receive theproductFICO advertised and sold. The fact that, if you bought the $29.95 version, these problems don't exist is especially galling.

I think that the team is aware of certain issues, and they're doing what they can to fix them.

As a Computer Engineer, and programmer myself, glitches and bugs will always be found. It's a new product and it is expected. Unit tests and virtual env testing can only provide so much insight.

However, I do believe that some sort of compensation should be given as the product is not behaving as it should. Furthermore, IMO, a detailed transcript of the items that fall under the category "monitoring," should be release. From what I understand, TU does not report balance changes like EQ. Facts like these should be made aware to us all. That way, we all are not here wondering why EQ is reporting balance changes while TU is not.

Thus, it would be nice to know what "monitoring alerts" and "score change alerts" means for EX and TU; as compared to what EQ has provided in the past and is currently providing.

Certainly TU should be alerting on a new account that was not there before. The service is not even picking up these kinds of major changes.

So are you saying that the 3-Bureau Monitoring product sent you an New Account alert for EFX but that you did not receive a similar alert from TU or EXP?

Thanks,

K

I am saying that when I got my 3-bureau report the first day of the service the new account was already showing on EX and EQ and NOT showing yet on TU. The other service that I use will frequently show TU updating the same thing days later.

The new card account has since shown up on my TU report but no alert has come in on the 3B from TU indicating that there is a new account.

Lol, yeah. It's a bit glitchy at the moment.

I subscribe to Identity and I am also having the same issues as everyone else. I know for a fact my scores are changing and a new TL reported to all 3 but not a peep from MyFICO. it doesn't matter what you've purchased, the product just stinks as of right now.

I have family that are programmers at Bank of America, FedEx, Maybeline, and hospitals, and this kind of thing is supposed to be fixed BEFORE offering it to the general public. This is why beta testing was invinted so this kind of fiasco was dealt with before the public was involved. There is a massive difference between "bugs" and "flat out doesn't work". If it doesn't work, fine, but for the love of all good things in the universe, let people cancel their subscription until you get it fixed. People should not be on the hook for a service/product that doesn't work. This, more than anything, is why I have a huge issues with it. Seriously, at this point, all I want is to be able to cancel without paying $40 for an additional two months of service of a product that is NOT woking. I'd be happy to sign back up once they get it fixed.

Actually, I get daily balance changes and other alerts from CK (TU) and CS (EQ) with no problems and have been getting them the entire time FICO has been saying otherwise. I had to report a card lost/stolen, and it has hit CK, CS, and Quizzle, and I have yet to get one notification about it from FICO. As I've said earlier, I went on an app spree around 8/2/14, and I have gotten notifications/alerts from CK, CS, and Quizzle and haven't heard a peep from FICO about those, either, from ANY of the CRBs they're "monitoring". I had to BUY a new three score/three report to know my credit score had gone up, because I hadn't gotten a single update/notification/alert from FICO about any of it since I bought the service on 8/21/14.

From what I understand through out the various threads, the only people who have this issues are the ones that signed up for the $19.95 version rather than the $29.95 with identity protection. They admit something isn't right, and they should let people cancel until they can get it right.

Interesting. Just from what I've read on here (and, admittedly, it's been a LOT, lol), I don't remember seeing that about the $29.95 version.

Like I said, I had to buy the regular 3 score/3 report to know what's updated and what hasn't. There have been significant changes that were picked up on the 3 score/3 report purchase that was NOT picked up on the monthly service.

To clarify, when you say that the "new card account has since shown up on my TU report but no alert has come in on the 3B from TU" -  you are saying that you have viewed this new account on a TU credit report provided by FICO? Correct?

If that is correct, then I can understand why you are wondering about your new account alert for TU went. Would you be willing to submit a support incident (if you haven't already - if you have, please let me know) so that we can get permission to view your account in further detail? I'd like to see if we can determine, using your account as an example to the team, what you are reporting. This way we can investigate something specific.

Thanks!

K

I just spoke with support and she said this is the first time she or others have heard about these problems.
