I just hung up with a CSR and cancelled this garbage. Reports come in wrong, I never get emails alerts to changes or updates and the app is useless. It will automatically stop billing me after the third month. Good riddance.
Another two EQ updates, and still not a peep out of the other EX or TU.
I really DON'T want to have to cancel, but it's becoming apparent that I'm NEVER going to get an EX or TU update
i know, EW. If the CSR would of just just said something along the lines of "we are aware" or "i know it must be frustrating, please give it time or reconsider" i might have hung in there. but it was the arrogance and the "there is nothing wrong and we have had no complaints" comment that made my blood boil which led to me cancelling now rather that later. i still have not received an email about the cancellation but even if or when i do get it, i will be calling the day before to confim. i have zero trust in there people. my scores are now in the very good/excellent range and the free TU scores from Discover and Barclays are good enough. my Chase, Cap1 and Amex apps will alert me if there is anything fishy going on with my credit.
I have the same complaints as everyone here. Its simply not working for me anywhere close to the advertised product. However since I'm going to be charged for the full 3 months regardless, I'll just wait it out to see if they get their act together before I cancel. Irregardless of whether or not they do eventually fix it, myFICO has taken a major blow to its reputation among its subscribers that won't be easily repaired. If I were rating them right now they'd be in the very low 400 range.
I've been a member since 8/28/14 and have recieved several alerts and score changes for EX and EQ but nothing from TU. UNTIL today!!! FInally seen some action for TU in the way of 4 alerts at the same time and score changes. I think the product works like theyintended just not like it is advertised. And the TU alerts were different then the others. They were from decreases in total amounts for my retail cards and then another for my bankcards. The EX and EQ alerts were always for individual card decreases. EIther way I'll stick with it for the 3 months but will probably switch to EQ score watch that is the fico04 since I'm mortgage watching.
Receive the following alert from TU today:
The total balance on your Bankcard account(s) has changed
The alert was for the total balance on all my bankcards. And, it came with a TU score change. I'll take that.
Thank goodness for small miracles. This is my first alert on TU.
I got the same alert on TU as Oilcan (first TU alert after 3 weeks), however mine came with an inquiry alert as well on TU. Some bank called Farley Bank. So I got nervous and was thinking identity theft, because the balance change was no where close to any balance I had, and because of the inquiry. So i bought the 3 bureau credit report, wanting to double check. Guess what. Nothing of the kind there. No inquiry from Farley Bank, no balance remotely close to the "balance change". So I went to the TU site and got the report there as well. Nope. Nada. Nothing there of the sort.
It was only after I logged on to Credit Karma that I noticed the "change in balance" was actually the sum of what I owe on every card I have. I called to complain, because I want my money back on the 3 bureau report I purchased as a direct result of their alert. Someone is supposed to call me back within 24 hours.
This really makes me wonder where they are actually pulling their information from. Because it sure isn't TU.

I just had the same thing happen to me. TU alert stating that I owe $5909 on credit card! 1) I don't own that or even have that limit on any of my cards. 2) I have not received alerts from any other places stating such. There is not even a card or bank associated with the alert! What a joke!

The TU balance change alert (that our team has been working hard on implementing quickly and just launched this week!) provides the account balance change total for all of your credit card accounts. We will be updating the Member Center copy for the alerts and the FAQS shortly.
