Fico package is misleading

You pay for your My Fico package for a year, yet you are only able to view online your report for a month.   It should be for a YEAR.  WHY can't we view it for a year if we are paying for it for a year's time?

Also, it's my understanding that you get your score ONE time.  So even if your score changes, you'll never know it.

MyFico is obviously out to make money off of consumers to get what they should be entitled to.  It's hardly worth getting your score for one day and being able to view the rest of your report online for only a month when most companies only report on a monthly basis!  So nothing basically will change within that month.

So I urge MyFico to be better... allow people to view their scores and their reports all year long as they paid for it.

You're bringing up a commonly misunderstood product, dahoov2. I take it you're talking about FICO Credit Complete with the automatic annual renewal feature?

It's true that with FCC you pay every year for these reports and scores; however, I wouldn't consider it a product that you "use" for a year. As you know, FCC provides your scores at all three bureaus one time each year, which is valuable information if you don't need to see them more often -- and many folks don't. The annual renewal feature provides an easy way to be reminded to check your credit reports and FICO scores once a year -- and it provides a discount for doing this. FCC is not intended to be a credit or score monitoring product.

The 30-day viewability limitation is one that we're working on extending to be more in line with some of our other products, i.e. Suze Kit, Score Watch, and FICO Quarterly Monitoring. Currently, there are database storage, security and privacy concerns that require these reports to be archived after 30 days. Again, we hope to improve on this situation in the coming months.

Sorry for the confusion and thanks for bringing it up!
