While I don't think I'd expect that much of an increase from paying that balance off, reducing your utilization from 86% to 0% is a pretty substantial improvement, so you could see a decent increase in your score -- especially if it's been some time since your last late payment.

I am rebuilding credit, my score is 548 and i have 1 CC with a 300 limit and 259 balance, it says if i pay it down to 0 next month my score will be 628-658, really? ~80-110 pt increase? Does anyone have any experience with this?
