How often do you buy your scores?

I have ScoreWatch and the Score Monitoring that updates your scores every quarter, which is what I thought I was getting when I got Score Watch, only to realize that SW only tracks your EQ score.

How often do you folks buy an updated score?  It seems almost everyday I can "buy today's score" but that can get costly.

Re: How often do you buy your scores?

Empress, that's a common question. And yes it sure does get expensive!

I think a lot of new people pull their scores weekly. And the expense factor starts to hurt. After a few months they back off to semi-monthly, then bi-monthly, etc.

I'm down to about once per calender quarter....more or less...depending if I'm eyeing a new cc and what not.

The appetite is really curtailed when you get a credit monitoring service that allows you to pull your CR(and associated FAKO score) as often as you want. Plus you have the extra security of knowing when anything changes on your CR. Inquiries, new accounts, potential baddies, etc.

I pull the CR offered by my cms, about 2 times/wk.
