I know it's changed!

I have become a myfico fanatic, why don't we get weekly updates when our score changes?  I had 2 more CC report, one with a lower balance, and one PIF and closed.... Nothing from Myfico, I could go broke and be unable to afford to pay the bills if I buy my score as often as I would like to. I am at a loss of what I am really paying my 8.95 a month for.... I did get an email a couple days ago telling me that there were no major changes to my report this month.... That's funny, I was reported 30days late, lost 73 points, I had to call myfico a couple weeks ago and tell them that, they gave me a complimentary report.... Yup, reported late, lost 73 points, then gained 66 back from a balance reduction........ Guess that was not major either, had to call again, got another complimentary report. Now I seem to be paying 8.95 plus cell phone minutes just to stay on top of things, what am I paying for again?

Re: I know it's changed!

UPDATE.....  Called Myfico today, spoke to them about concerns with still not getting  an alert, they gave me another report, score went up 56 more points and a major status change, from being reported 30 past due to current.... Keep your eye out to make sure that this is not happening to you too!

Re: I know it's changed!

While I'm not able to say you should have received any alerts that you didn't, it does seem a bit odd that you haven't been alerted more frequently, considering the number of changes to your EQ report.

Sometimes when SW isn't alerting properly it's due to a problem with the original setting up of the account. That is, there can be a break in the connection between myFICO and EQ in the alert process. What often works in this situation is canceling SW and re-enrolling. It's kind of like resetting the whole process.

We've refunded this month's SW payment, if you want to try this re-enrolling approach. Sorry for the problems you're having, myankovic. Smiley Sad
