I just contacted Equifax regarding a dispute on my credit report. The lady was very helpful in advising me she would send request to the creditors. After our conversation, she asked if I was using a 3rd party to pull reports. She said "I see you've pulled your report thru MyFico 3 times (these were the dates that I signed up for MyFico and SW) anyway she said did you know each time they (MyFico) pulls your report it is a hard pull?

I'm not sure I was fully aware if this.

Is this true? Is this going to hurt my credit score?

Wrong. If you want to confirm, go to annualcreditreport.com and pull your free one. You can see which ones are hard.

This almost sounds like a sales ploy to get you to cancel any third party pullers you have and order them straight from EQ.
