MyFICO

I used MyFICO to view and dispute any and all errors on my credit report. I bought it in 12/08 w/score watch  and sent an dispute letter to Equifax about an account with Capital One. I recieved a letter from Equifax saying that Cap 1 is not listed on my report with them and they sent me a credit report.

Why was it listed on MyFICO with Equifax and yet they don't have it on my report?

Is this affecting my score with it still listed on MyFICO? Is there someway to contact MyFICO to find out why it's listed?

Thanks

Re: MyFICO

MyFICO reports only have the same info as the reports pulled from the CRAs. It could be that it was deleted between the time it was on your myFICO report and your dispute. Or if you disputed it with the other two CRAs, one or both of those disputes could have lead to CapOne removing the TL before the dispute was logged in with EQ.

Re: MyFICO

Sooooo, just sit tight and see if MyFICO catches up with Equifax? Is there a time frame that I should give it before I start to worry?

Thanks

Re: MyFICO

It is realtime, when you get a report from myFICO, it gets the report and generates the score based on what the CRA is reporting.

If you bought a myFICO report and score from Equifax for $11(I can PM you a coupon) it would reflect your new FICO score.

Re: MyFICO

MyFICO reports are the exact same as the reports as the ones pulled directly from the CRAs. They will update at the same time. If EQ provided you with a full report minus CapOne, then your myFICO report will show the same.

Re: MyFICO-Not getting repaired despite majory paydowns

I have purchased the Score Alert and was notified in November that a $752 increase in the balance on one of my cards resulted in a 11 point decline in my Score. I immediately paid the card down by $3,500 yet my score did was not increased by the 11 points or more even though I had paid 5 times the amount that drove it down by 11 points. Again, in January, I got a score alert saying my score was driven down by 7 point due to an increase in a department store balance by $200, in am nowhere near my limit on that card. Again, I immediately paid my balance down two and 1/2 times by $500 dollars, yet my score was not improved by the 7 points or more. Is there a phone number I can call to discuss this with FICO?

Hi FrustratedFico123456789... You may want to keep in mind that the Score Watch alerts are only able to indicate what MAY have caused the score drop, since there are usually many factors contributing to a score increase or decline.

You can reach myFICO Customer Support at:

1-800-319-4433
Mon-Fri 6am to 6pm PST

Good luck!
