No Way to Get Transunion Score??

I don't have a fraud alert on the report, but in the supplementary section there is a flag that notes

INPUT CURRENT ADDRESS REPORTED MISUSED AND REQUIRES FURTHER INVESTIGATION
I live in a condo building so not sure if that's it.... Is there no way to get the Transunion FICO score because of that?
I was previously able to get my Transunion FICO score from MyFICO a few months ago just fine even with the same alert so I'm not sure why I'm being told by CSR that it's not possible now.
Transunion indicates they're supplementatal flag are meant to guide further review by creditors and not to prevent access/credit granting. And that they can't take off the flag.

Re: No Way to Get Transunion Score??

Welcome to the forums!

In the bolded section above, is that on your TU report when you pull it from transunion.com or annualcreditreport? If not, where is it from?

Did you move to this new address since your last TU FICO pull?

While mods can't do anything (aside from a resident Admin), I'm throwing out ideas...

What exactly was the error from myFICO? Do you have any 6-month or older, undisputed, and open and current accounts on TU? (I know you did back when, otherwise a score wouldn't have been generated).

Re: No Way to Get Transunion Score??

That flag is on the Transunion file and I linked it up with the response here :

The myFICO system has identified a fraud indicator on your credit report and, for security purposes, we will not be able to deliver your credit report and score from that bureau to you. These indicators are intended to point out potential fraud situations, such as, a fraud alert that you may have placed on your file, a SSN that's been used by more than one person, or an address that may have been linked to fraudulent activity at one time. For your protection, myFICO places a restriction on reports having these indicators, and as long as they appear on a file we cannot deliver that bureau's report and score to you via myFICO.

It's strange that a score can't be provided because transunion thinks that at one point in time, someone at this multi-unit address at one time might have been the victim of (or less likely.. it's a good neighboorhood.. committed) fraud.

Hi Aimingfor850,

These situations in which a fraud flag is triggered at the credit bureau and delivered to myFICO are tough to resolve, since even the bureau rep you're being told to contact won't be able to see the flag or do anything about it.  My only suggestion, and it's a bit of a long shot but won't cost anything if it fails, is to replace your current address at myFICO with a previous one that was used to successfully pull a report in the past from either TU or EQ.

How about giving this a try and getting back to us?  Good luck!

Re: No Way to Get Transunion Score??

I am having this same problem.  I purchased my TU report/score from this site on 8/8 with no problem.  I tried to get another report/score on 10/4 and was denied.  I received an error msg of 733 and was told to contact customer service and give that error msg.  The svc rep asked me for my current home address and I gave that to him.  He said it was wrong, so I gave him my previous thinking there must have been a mixup and again he says I'm wrong.  Anyway, we get past that he looks at my report and just "guesses" what the problem is, that I've had no activity in several years so it's not producing a score.  I know he's wrong because only 2 months prior I received a score under the same circumstances, no problem.  I didn't appreciate he was guessing, that was his word.  Basically, I was SOL.

This past Friday, 10/21, I again try to see if I can get a report/score through this site for TU.  I then get the msg about the fraud alert, same as the original poster.  I use the contact link and request help from MyFico because my account has been locked.  I receive a msg back a day later, saying I need to contact TU directly to resolve the matter.  Yesterday morning I call them and go through the same issue concerning my address.  Apparently, when I put in my billing address for my debit card, it was flagged as my home address (which it is NOT).  It is my work address.  I have never given it as my home address, ever.  Anyway, we get past it by him asking me questions concerning my account.  After all of that , he says there isn't any kind of fraud alert on my account. It's not locked or on hold for anything for any reason.  He is going to mail me my report which I should receive in 5-7 days.

I come back to MyFico and see this post and realize I'm having the same issue.  I follow the advice from Barry by changing my address to a previous one on my TU report.  Still no luck.  Still says my account is locked.

The worst of this is that I'm meeting my mortage guy this afternoon, and my account is locked.  Maybe he won't want to pull TU but who really knows.  I'd like to get all 3 scores if possible from him.

Extremely frustrating!!!

Hi workinmywayup2ahome,

Sorry you're having so much trouble getting your TU report.  We've unlocked your account, so give it another try.  Good luck!
